In October 2003 Mundic Nation presented Writers' Block, the first weekend of its kind in Cornwall. Over two days at the St. Michael's Hotel in Falmouth 50 delegates enjoyed a programme of workshops, seminars and master classes, all dedicated to the nuts and bolts of screenwriting. |

Thanks to financial support from South West Screen and Creative Skills Consortium , we were able to offer the weekend at an extremely low rate, and still attract top industry speakers and guests. | |
| Keynote Speaker Sam Snape (left) and literary agent Julian Friedmann led inspiring sessions, as did Marie Macneill and Raoul Morris (pictured below with delegate Emma George). | ![]() |

"I've
been in the television industry for 27 years and in that time have attended,
and tutored in, dozens of workshops, seminars and festivals.
Seldom have I taken part in an event so well thought out, professionally organised and enthusiastically delivered. And I have rarely seen such enthusiasm generated amongst participants, all of us finding inspiration and encouragement at our various levels and in our wide ranging interests."
